I put an offer on a condo in downtown Kirkland on Saturday. I should hear back from the developer by tomorrow (Tuesday) PM. I'm really anxious -- this is a huge step to take, but I feel that it's the right move to do both personally and financially.

The unit is a brand new 1 BR + den in a 110 unit complex -- two blocks from the waterfront, and a block from downtown. Here's their cheesy website if you want to check it out

I decided on living in Kirkland (about 10 minutes north of where I am right now) after I checked it out last Saturday. Kirkland has a nice waterfront village feel to it, as opposed to Bellevue (where I am now) which just has tall office buildings an a mall. There's a fun young nightlife crowd too.

Update 02/06/2007: They accepted my offer! I'm a homeowner!
